About

This page is a compiling of research organized into the circuit of culture for the topic of Action Comics and the golden age of comics. Action comics was a publication of comics that defined the golden age of comics (from about 1938-1954). At the time the publication was popular with children and sold at local grocers and newspaper stands. Comic books were important at this point in time because it got children reading and not only did they read the content but enjoyed not only the content but ready as a whole.  The sections of production, consumption and other aspects of this circuit will be explored for the use of education even more in-depth on this site under their corresponding tabs.
